How it works

What a team rollout looks like

Your team learns online, at their own pace, around shifts and shutdowns, with no travel and no classroom to coordinate. Here's how it works:

Self-paced
online

Each learner works through the course at their own pace; the time commitment varies by course and is shown on each course page. Your team can start within 2 days of us receiving the PO or payment.

Live access
to Erik

Bi-weekly live Q&A calls for every enrolled learner, for as long as they are enrolled. Your team brings their real-life challenges and questions, getting direct coaching and answers.

A credential
that counts

Upon course completion your team members earn a certificate and a digital credential issued through Credly, the same platform SMRP uses to issue the CMRP credential. It is verifiable and goes straight into a competency record or LinkedIn profile.

Visibility
for you

Progress reports land in your inbox on your schedule, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, showing where every participant is up to. On request we can also report quiz and exam scores, and provide a course scorecard with participant feedback.

Prefer face-to-face? We also run onsite workshops and hybrid programs that combine the online courses with in-person delivery.

Role mapping

Who should do which course?

How you match people to training depends on a few factors, but train your full team, not just a few individuals. Creating a common language and shared understanding gets results faster, and sustains the gains.

Planning & scheduling

Start with Planning & Scheduling, and roll the training out across your sites as follows:

  • PS100for those driving or implementing P&S improvements
  • PS200for planners, schedulers and supervisors
  • PS300for managers and superintendents (coming soon)
  • PS400for technicians and operators

The rest of the program

Once Planning & Scheduling is embedded the next logical training topics are:

  • PM100for the engineers and planners developing your preventive maintenance program
  • DE100for the teams eliminating recurring defects (coming soon)
  • LC100for the leaders setting the reliability culture (coming soon)

Cost at scale

Volume pricing

Volume pricing applies across your whole organisation. The discount is corporate and cumulative: seats from every site and country add to one running total, and as that total grows the discount rises for everyone, globally. Prices are per seat in USD.
SeatsDiscountPS100 / PM100PS200
1–20%$1,995.00$1,295.00
3–910%$1,795.50$1,165.50
10–1920%$1,596.00$1,036.00
20–4930%$1,396.50$906.50
50–9940%$1,197.00$777.00
100+50%$997.50$647.50

Once your cumulative total passes 100+ seats, you can move to an annual licensing structure. Ask us for details.

Procurement and rollout

Simple to buy, simple to roll out

We make buying easy as possible. Pay online by credit card, by invoice via bank transfer or company credit card, or raise a PO and we will work to payment terms that suit your internal process. Some clients pay centrally; others have each site pay its own way. What works for you, works for us.

The difference

Why teams choose us over the alternatives

Reliability Academy
vs traditional consultants

A consultant does the work and leaves, and the improvement usually leaves with them. We build your team’s capability instead of renting you ours. Fixed price, fixed scope, and it fits a training budget.

Reliability Academy
vs generic trainers

Built and taught by a practitioner with 25+ years running maintenance in asset-intensive plants. Training is our business, not a lead-generator for a consulting engagement.

Reliability Academy
vs new software

Software on top of a broken process is garbage in, garbage out. Fix the process first, and your CMMS gets more valuable once your team knows how to use it properly.

Business case

Need to make the case to your leadership?

Most of our buyers do not need a formal business case; the pricing fits their training budget. If you do, the fastest way to build one is to measure where you stand today. Planning and scheduling is usually the first thing teams implement, so start there: take the P&S Scorecard to benchmark your current state, then run the Wrench Time Calculator, which puts a dollar figure on the opportunity. That number is your business case.

Can we run this through our own LMS?

Yes, the training can be delivered through your existing LMS. We can discuss the specifics on a call.

Which languages are available?

PS100 and PS200 are available in English, Spanish, French, Turkish and Portuguese. PM100, PS400 and SD400 are in English, with PS400 and SD400 translations in progress. We add languages as demand grows.

What happens if trained people leave?

Our Turnover Guarantee covers you: if a trained team member leaves within two years of starting a course, we train their replacement for free.

What’s the difference between training and coaching for a team rollout?

Training is self-paced and scales easily; coaching is live and turns training into implementation. Most teams start with training and add a sprint once a foundational course is done. See the coaching sprints page.
