PS100: Implementing Planning & Scheduling
For your implementation team, early on. The foundations of work management and how to put them into practice.

Tool Time Sprint
A 12-month coaching program for maintenance teams. We train your people, we coach them through the work, and your team implements planning & scheduling for real, so the gains last.
The right fit
The model
The goal
Planning & scheduling done properly is worth a lot. The goal is to move your wrench time from a typical 30% to over 45%. That’s the equivalent of growing your maintenance workforce by 35% without hiring anyone.
Getting planning & scheduling right also reduces stress, ensures fewer call-outs and creates a more stable working environment, setting you up for the next improvements.
In 12 months that improvement is implemented and embedded in how your team works, with the processes, tools and habits to keep it that way, with a team that actually owns it.

Your team
Senior leader in the organisation who is committed to the concept of planning & scheduling, provides support and clears internal blockers, ensures resources and acts as a final decision maker for conflicts.
Key functional managers (think Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, Engineering Manager) meet with the project manager at least once a month, keeping the work aligned and decisions shared.
Motivated individual keen to implement planning & scheduling, full-time resource who returns to the maintenance team once the project is complete.
Team that delivers the actual work: the systems, processes, documentation and coaching of the organisation. A mixture of full-time and part-time resources.
The framework

Format
12 months, live and online.
Fortnightly coaching calls with your implementation team.
An online project portal to plan and track progress.
A full set of tools and templates, downloadable and in the portal, that your team adapts to your operating context.
Site visits by exception only. We keep our on-site presence light on purpose, so ownership stays with your team rather than shifting to us.
Training included
The sprint includes online training for the people involved in planning & scheduling. We take your implementation team through PS100 Implementing Planning & Scheduling at the start of the project. Then your planners, schedulers and supervisors go through the PS200. And your frontline technicians and operators go through the PS400.
Pricing covers up to 30 people across the PS100/PS200 and up to 50 people for the PS400.
For your implementation team, early on. The foundations of work management and how to put them into practice.
For your wider planning & scheduling personnel, the planners, schedulers and supervisors who run it day to day.
For the frontline technicians and operators who work to the schedule day to day. It gives the whole team a shared understanding of planning & scheduling, so they support the process rather than work around it.
Vs a consultant
A consultant will implement planning & scheduling for you, and for a year or two it might hold. Then they leave, and without the ownership and capability inside your team, things drift back. We do it the other way around: your team does the work with us coaching, so the capability and the result stay with you. Sprints not marathons, fixed scope, no open-ended dependency.

FAQs
No. The online training is built into the sprint. We take your implementation team through PS100 early, then your wider P&S people through PS200.
It’s an active 12-month engagement: your implementation team does the work, coached through fortnightly calls. We scope the commitment to your team on the call.
Because it’s built around implementation, not knowledge. Change management is baked into the framework, and your team does the work and owns it, which is what makes it stick.
By exception only, and on purpose. Too much on-site presence shifts ownership to us; the goal is for your team to be the experts.
Up to 30 on PS100 and PS200, and up to 50 on PS400. You can add more at additional cost.
It’s a single 12-month engagement with flexible payment options: twelve monthly payments of USD 9,950, four quarterly payments of USD 24,950 (16% off), or USD 79,500 upfront (35% off). It covers training for up to 30 staff on PS100 and PS200, and up to 50 on PS400. Book a call and we’ll scope it to your site.

Planning & scheduling done properly is the difference between another initiative that fades and one your team runs for good. Download the program to see how it works, or book a call to talk it through.
